Do you recall the MEGA book drive we conducted at the Awrudu celebrations last year in April?

In collaboration with Pick a Book Sri Lanka we successfully concluded yet another milestone donating textbooks, workbooks and story books that can contribute to a bright future for young minds in the North of Sri Lanka

Following the project, we also got a request to provide 50 Tamil-to-English dictionaries that will empower young learners, break down language barriers, and open up a world of possibilities.

A dictionary is more than just a book — it’s a bridge to understanding, opportunity, and hope. For many students in Northern Sri Lanka, the lack of basic language resources limits their ability to learn, connect, and dream bigger.

We are truly grateful for each and everyone one of you who contributed to bring smiles and joy to these wonderful children who are eager to learn and enrich their knowledge. You really proved that distance is no barrier to spread love and kindness - from Washington DC to Jaffna
