Donation of two water‑purifying filters and a Smart Board to Masmulla Primary School in Kamburupitiya

The Charity arm of the Sri Lanka Association of Washington DC, SLAGW, is honored to have successfully donated two water‑purifying filters and a smart board to M/R Masmulla Primary School in Kamburupitiya, Matara.

During our assessment, we learned that this primary school, which serves 114 students, relies on a well that is contaminated and unsafe for drinking.

Access to clean drinking water creates a healthier learning environment, while modern technology opens new opportunities for interactive and engaging education. We hope these contributions support both the well‑being and academic growth of the students for years to come.
