Eyeglass clinic in the Welikada Prison

Today’s Eyeglass clinic in the Welikada Prison was a huge success. SLAWDC partnered with Medical Help International (MHI) and was headed by Navindi Sandali Weerasinghe. The team screened for distance and near vision, & was able to write 67 bifocal prescriptions and dispense over 250 reading glasses in less than seven hours. This clinic was conducted within the SL Welikada Prison premises for the inmates.
